The Scopies came together in 2006 as a result of watching too many pub bands knock out the same old barroom blues, pub rock covers, BritpopTM tedium and heavy metal "classics". There's not enough fun in small venue music - and crucially, not enough shouting 1 - 2 - 3 - 4.
The individual Scopies are: Larry (vocals), Tim (Guitar), Ian (Drums) and Rich (Bass). You may refer to them as Larry Scopie, Tim Scopie, Ian Scopie and Rich Scopie if you wish, although they're not actually related. More information here.
The Scopies are based in Northamptonshire, and frankly don't have ambitions to travel all that far, but if you want some two minute bouncy songs at your local boozer, feel free to contact us and I'm sure we can work something out.
We're aware that there's not much on the website at the moment, but there will be soon, so please check back often - or suggest new content ideas.
