We've decided to call it a day… We've had a great time playing shouty punk rock around Northants for the last couple of years, but circumstances mean that we can't carry on as we are now. So - our last gig will be at The Horseshoe Inn, Sheep Street, Wellingborough, on 30th November, 2008 - quite fitting, as that was the scene of our first gig and Deb and Nick have supported us all the way. So - please make an effort to come along, to rock and to roll one final time. And we'll be reducing the price of the badges to "A big kiss and a cuddle" (from ladies) or "a good solid shake of the hand" (from blokes). ;-) Keep in touch though guys - there may be Scopie inspired side projects in the months to come. Thanks for reading! (That's "reading", not "Reading"). ;-)

2nd October - Better late than never…

We had a great time at the Mela, despite only playing 15 minutes - what's that though - six songs? :-) Shame about the weather - it threw it down all day, except when The Scopies played. We like to think that was no coincidence… Everyone seemed to enjoy it - hopefully there'll be a repeat of the festival next year. There are some photos of us on the Pics page, and a load of photos of the day on Cllr Paul Crofts' Picasa page…

21st August - We're *so* sorry…

Very big "we're sorry!" to anyone who came along to the Romany hoping to see us last Sunday. Tim was laid up in bed in a darkened room unable to move, and although he tried to force himself out, there was absolutely no way it was going to happen, and we had to cancel at the 11th hour. Again, we're *really* sorry. :-( If you're still speaking to us, we're at the Park Tavern in Wellingborough on the 29th, and at the Mela at 5pm on the 31st…

30th July - Wellingborough Mela…

We're due to be playing the Wellingborough Mela festival on the 31st August, at Castle Fields. No news yet as to timings - or in fact anything else, but there's <a href="http://www.wellingborough.gov.uk/site/scripts/documents_info.php?documentID=223&pageNumber=9" target="_blank" title="Link to Wellingborough Council's Mela page.
